The Son Given

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

- Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)

Jesus the Christ, is the revelation of the Father and the manifestation of the Word of God. Born of a virgin, He walked this Earth for the sole purpose of saving us from ourselves. He, the King, brought His Kingdom alongside of Him. Being led by the Spirit, He fasted, prayed, and gave His life for us. He became a curse for you and I, when He hung upon the tree. He rid the world of their sin, by putting it into His body. He humbled Himself, knowing who He was, and walked without a home and without a thought of worry to show the power of the Kingdom. For He didn't come speaking in vain words, but He moved in nothing but POWER and LOVE. He is love. The complete manifestation of love. It's by love that He was given to us to redeem us.

Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. It is by His name that we are saved, not yours, not a pastors, prophet, evangelist, missionary, superintendent, or any made up title. Jesus is to be preached. His name isn't God neither is it Lord. That's who He is! He is God, He is Lord, He just is. His word said "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me." He is to be lifted up, not Paul, Moses, Elijah, etc. It is the name Jesus, that heals, saves, and delivers. It is because of Him that we have the Holy Ghost, and it is by Him that we are baptized and given the Holy Ghost. Because of Him we carry the Kingdom of God within us. Because of Him we are no longer bound by death, but now have everlasting life. Because of Him we can approach the throne of grace, and petition the Father by His name with boldness. Because of Him we have received all spiritual blessings, and have been exalted alongside Him in heavenly places. When we stand before the Father in prayer, He should see His Son for He is our example, and our arbitrator.

We have been commissioned by Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, to preach the Gospel with love and power just like He did. He has died, resurrected and ascended. And after ascension, He left His Spirit with us. Within us, we have the Spirit of Life, to give us power, to lead us, comfort us, protect us, and to resurrect us in our new bodies so we can meet Him in the air when our Lord comes back for us. We are to move in the Spirit, live in the Spirit, and worship Him in the Spirit. He is coming soon for His bride, His church, us. It is time now, to not make His death be in vain, to not crucify Him again, but to advance His Kingdom that is already here. Accept Him, receive the Holy Ghost, and let His Kingdom be revealed by His power and His love through you. Your body is not yours, but His, He purchased us on the tree, and it is our reasonable service to serve and please Him. We are not bound by death no longer, but are living just to live again, from temporary to everlasting life with our Lord and Savior, reigning on a new Earth.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

- John 3:16

"And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments."

- 1 John 2:1-3

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."

- John 1:1-3

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

- John 1:14

"And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us."

- Matthew 1:23-25

"I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:"

- Matthew 3:11

"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

- Philippians 2:5-11

"Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died."

- Romans 7:4-9

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

- John 14:6

"Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father."

- Ephesians 2:15-18

"Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

- Hebrews 4:14-16

"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

- Matthew 28:18-20

"For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant. Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men. Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God."

- 1 Corinthians 7:22-24

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith."

- Romans 12:1-3
